Pop In Beauty Bar began as a pop-up shop in December 2016. Ten years later we are still on St Francis Drive, still opposite Spar, and still run on the same simple idea — look after people properly and they come back.

Pop In Beauty Bar is a small, independent beauty salon in the heart of St Francis Bay. We do nails, facials, massage, waxing, lashes and brows — the everyday care that helps you feel more like yourself, done properly and without any fuss.
What has never changed is the way it feels to walk in. There is no counter full of things you did not ask for, no upselling, no rushing you out to fit in the next booking. Every price is on the spa menu, every treatment is given the time it actually needs, and the therapist looking after you will remember your name the next time you come in.
We look after locals through the quiet winters and visitors through the busy summers, and we are glad of both. Whether you live in the village, you are down for the holidays, or you have driven through from Cape St Francis or Jeffreys Bay — you are welcome to pop in.

Meet the owner
Renee.
Renee grew up in Pretoria, went to school at Afrikaanse Hoër Meisieskool and studied Oral Hygiene at Tuks. Work then took her to England — and kept her there for twenty-eight years.
When she came home, she came to St Francis Bay. In December 2016 she opened Pop In Beauty Bar as a little pop-up shop, with no grand plan beyond doing good work at a fair price. Ten years on, the pop-up is still here and still thriving.
Ask her what the business is really about and she will not talk about treatments. She will talk about people — loving them, listening to them, sharing a bit of her day with them and sending them home lighter than they arrived. That has been the whole strategy from the start, and it has been enough.
Today a permanent team of eight runs Pop In alongside her, and they are the reason it works.

Between them they cover nails, facials and skin, massage, waxing, lashes and brows, spray tanning and a full men’s menu. If you are not sure what you need, ask — an honest recommendation costs nothing.
