Which one is right for you
Four finishes. One honest difference.
Most people arrive knowing they want their nails done and rather less sure which option suits them. So here it is plainly — no upselling, just what each one actually does and how long it lasts.
Gel polish
Cured under a UV lamp, which makes it harder and glossier than standard polish — and means it cannot smudge on the walk back to the car. It holds for three to five weeks, so it is the sensible choice before a holiday, a wedding, or a stretch of not having time. Taking it off is a proper soak-off, not a peel. Please don’t pick at it.
Standard polish
Good old-fashioned lacquer, in our Bio Sculpture range. Softer on the nail and simple to take off yourself when you fancy a different colour next week. It does take longer to dry than gel, so give yourself a few quiet minutes before you go reaching for your keys.
Acrylic tips
False tips bonded to the nail bed, then clipped and filed to whatever length you like and finished with gel colour. They stay put for as long as it takes your own nail to grow out underneath, and we can repaint them along the way rather than starting over.
Express mani or pedi
Shape, cuticles, a proper tidy-up, and a coat of standard Bio Sculpture polish if you would like one. This is the one to book when you are between things — a lunch hour, or the gap before dinner — and still want to walk out feeling put together.

Extra care for hands and feet.
A summer of barefoot on the beach and the Kromme River jetty is hard on feet. These are the add-ons that make the biggest difference — ask your therapist and we’ll build them into your appointment.
Plush pedicure
Our full pedicure with an Indian head massage folded into it. Ninety minutes, and most people are somewhere close to asleep by the end.
Mediheel
A Balsan solution worked into very dry or cracked heels with cotton swabs to lift away dead skin. Add it to any pedicure — on well-worn summer feet you will see the difference the same day.
Paraffin dip
Hands or feet lowered into a warm bath of paraffin and essential oils to soften and hydrate. It can be repeated a few times in one sitting until your skin feels the way you want it to.

Loyalty cards. Ask for one at your next treatment — after your seventh treatment valued at over R300 you qualify for a free pedicure.
Please be on time. It means you get the full length of your treatment, and the person after you gets theirs. No-shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment carry a 50% surcharge.
Before you come in
Questions we get most weeks.
How long does gel polish last?
Three to five weeks for most people, which is when it usually wants redoing. Nails that grow quickly sit at the shorter end of that.
How long should I set aside?
Thirty minutes for an express mani or pedi, an hour for a full one, and ninety minutes if you are adding gel or booking the plush pedicure.
Can you take off gel or acrylics done elsewhere?
Yes. A soak-off with a treatment is R180 on its own. That price is for the removal and the treatment, not for a fresh set on top — if you would like new nails as well, book the soak off and reapply.
Do you do men’s and teens’ nails?
We do, and both have their own prices — you will find them in the price list above. Teenagers also get 10% off standard waxing prices for under-16s.
What if I need to cancel?
Please let us know as early as you can. No-shows and cancellations inside 24 hours carry a 50% surcharge — it is a small salon and a missed slot is a slot nobody else could book.
Can I buy a voucher for someone?
Yes. Vouchers can be bought online through Yoco in about a minute, or give us a call or a WhatsApp and we will write out a card by hand for you.
