Massagethat actually helps.
Thirty minutes to ninety · your pressure, not ours
Seven kinds of massage in a small, quiet room off the village square — from a half-hour on the neck and shoulders to ninety unhurried minutes head to toe. Whatever you book, the first thing your therapist will ask is how firm you want it. Please answer honestly. We would far rather adjust than have you lie there being polite about it.

Seven massages, plainly described
Which one do you need?
Not which one sounds nicest — which one your body is actually asking for. Here is what each does, honestly, so you can book the right one rather than the one with the prettiest name.
Head, neck & shoulders
The one most people book, and usually the one most people need. Concentrated work on the head, neck and shoulders — where tension collects and then quietly stays. Thirty minutes takes the edge off; forty-five gets properly into it.
Foot & leg
Lower legs and feet worked over properly, to release stress and tension where you have been carrying yourself all day. Book it after a long walk on the beach, a day on your feet, or the drive down to the bay.
Full body
Head to toe, covering most of the body. Sixty minutes is a proper massage; ninety is the one where we do not have to hurry past anything. If you can spare the time, take the ninety — nobody has ever regretted it.
Indian head massage
Scalp, forehead and temples, and nothing else. Half an hour, and unexpectedly effective on the kind of headache that has been building since about eleven this morning.
Hot stone therapy
Smooth heated stones laid along the spine while you are being massaged, putting warmth straight into tired muscles to ease tension and pain. Fifty rand added to any massage on this page, and quietly the best value on our menu.
Sport / deep tissue
For bodies that train. Used before, during and after training to help flexibility, prevent injury and improve performance. The pressure is firm — genuinely firm — so tell your therapist about any injury or sore spot before we start, not halfway through.
Lymphatic drainage
Also called manual lymphatic drainage. Gentle, deliberate work that encourages lymph towards vessels that are draining properly, used to relieve the swelling that can follow illness or medical treatment. The touch stays light and slow throughout — nothing like a deep tissue massage. If you are under treatment for something, do have a word with your doctor first.
Before you lie down
Three things worth saying out loud.
None of this is awkward to bring up, and all of it makes the hour better. Your therapist would genuinely rather know.
How firm you want it
We ask every time, and we mean it every time. There is no correct answer and no prize for enduring more pressure than you want. Say so at the start, and say so again halfway through if it has changed.
Any injuries or sore spots
Especially before a sport or deep tissue massage, where the pressure is firm by design. A shoulder that has been giving trouble, a healing sprain, somewhere that simply does not like being touched — tell us before we begin.
What you are hoping for
Switching off completely and something closer to physio are two different hours. Tell your therapist which one you are after and she will shape the massage around it.

Before you come in
Questions we get most weeks.
I just want to switch off. Which do I book?
A 30 minute back, neck and shoulder if you are short on time, or a 60 minute full body if you are not. Add hot stones to either for R50.
How long should I set aside?
Thirty or forty-five minutes for a focused massage, sixty or ninety for full body. Sport, deep tissue and lymphatic drainage are all sixty.
Can I add hot stones to any massage?
Yes, to any of them, for R50. Just mention it when you book so your therapist has the stones warm and ready.
Do you do sports massage?
We do — sixty minutes at R650, aimed at flexibility, injury prevention and recovery. It uses firm pressure, so please flag any injuries before your therapist starts rather than during.
Do you massage teenagers?
Yes. A teen massage is R220 for 30 minutes.
What if I need to cancel?
Let us know as early as you can. No-shows and cancellations inside 24 hours carry a 50% surcharge — it is a small salon, and a missed slot is one nobody else could book.
